BurdaNews concluded agreements with more than 70 broadcasters and rights holders. The offer includes all major public and private broadcasters as well as special interest channels in Germany and abroad. A great majority of the channels are available in HD quality. They can be accessed directly via the TV guide and users can switch between channels as often as they like without having to leave the program. The TV program will be rendered completely and in real time. The user finds out whether a program is worthwhile watching from the recommendations of the TV-Spielfilm editorial team. Furthermore users can also share their comments to ongoing programs directly via Facebook and Twitter.

Free-mium model
The functionalities of TV Spielfilm live will be integrated into the existing digital offers of TV Spielfilm; in order to access the offer via the mobile operating systems Android and iOS, the usual updates have to be performed. A LAN / Wi-Fi network or a cellular data connection (3G or 4G) are necessary for retrieving the live signal. At the start users can use all channels for free via TV Spielfilm live for one month. This also applies after the free trial month for 50 channels. With a subscription price of EUR 9.99 per month, the live program with the other 20 channels remains available. The TV signals are rendered in full and unaltered.
