Father Christmas is wearing yellow this year – the fourth edition of ADAC Motorwelt is here!

Christmas 2020 has come early: from today, ADAC club members can pick up the latest issue of ADAC Motorwelt, Germany’s largest circulating mobility magazine, at participating EDEKA and Netto supermarkets, as well as from ADAC. The winter edition is the fourth issue in which BCN has been involved in its capacity as ADAC’s main contractor for the magazine.

The project is anything but small, seeing as BCN’s role covers everything from editing to printing and marketing to distribution. The amount of content that has been output under the watchful eye of BCN so far is also jaw dropping – if you were to lay out all the pages of the magazines and regional supplements published in 2020, you would have an area of 127,295 square kilometres!

From corporate magazine to leading mobility magazine

The relaunch at the start of the year saw the former corporate magazine not only receive a new, high-quality look, but also a new design in terms of content. With 4.1 million copies sold, Motorwelt is a premium magazine that illuminates modern, mobile life in all its facets. The way the magazine communicates with the 21 million ADAC members revolves around an expanded concept of mobility with topics that literally move people in their everyday lives. The readers were also impressed by this, as according to the latest study* conducted on the revamp, nearly 80 per cent of those surveyed rated the magazine as modern and contemporary as well as a good guide to modern mobility.

Premium content: from interviews to tests and podcast tips

Just like the previous ones, the fourth issue provides content that lives up to Motorwelt’s claim. Liverpool FC manager Jürgen Klopp talks about his highs and lows as a coach in an interview, and singers Ina Müller and Nena head out to the country on exclusively for the ADAC. The issue is once again brimming with high-quality photo spreads and background reports, for example on the fuel technologies of the future, and readers can also browse through the popular services. This time around, the ADAC tested 14 child car seats, among a whole host of other things. There is also a huge range of other services for families, including podcast tips.
