    Why PLAYBOY Magazine?

  • Subscriptions on the rise for twelve quarters in a row
  • PLAYBOY knows how to win over its readership, time and time again – as the only title among the relevant men’s magazines to do so, its subscription figures have risen to about 43,000. That is 8.7 per cent more than the fourth quarter of 2017. Subscriptions now make up one third of its total sales.
  • PLAYBOY is also successful when it comes to sales in retail stores – 61,327 copies were sold over the counter. That’s 47 per cent of total circulation – significantly more than GQ (with 20,694 copies sold in retail stores and 27 per cent respectively) and Men’s Health (with 38,159 copies sold in retail stores and 29 per cent respectively).
  • PLAYBOY – as the most expensive magazine in the segment – also has the most stable circulation structure: 104,321 copies sold, with subscriptions and retail sales together making up 79 per cent, and the majority of copies actually having been purchased by consumers (and not returned to the publisher). Men’s Health (64,020 copies and 48 per cent respectively) and GQ (32,976 copies and 44 per cent respectively) performed significantly worse.
  • PLAYBOY has also continued to be the magazine with the most e-paper sales, with about 17,000 copies sold. This was a steady 9,500 for Men’s Health, and a mere 1,300 for GQ. PLAYBOY was able to increase sales by 13 per cent compared to the fourth quarter of 2017.
